These are the tenants that define ArtVentures, an organization of professional artists, working studios, and classroom and gallery space, based in Wilson, North Carolina. ArtVentures was founded by award-winning artists Pegi Barnes-Sharp and Oona Payne Lewis.

Through their studio work and plein air painting journeys to France, Italy, Maine, Key West, the North Carolina mountains and coast, and the desert Southwest, Oona and Pegi share their abiding love and respect for this beautiful, miraculous Earth, and those who inhabit it.
